The information provided on this site regarding Victorian-era San Francisco is invaluable. I was identifying Queen Anne Towers and Slanted Bay Italiantes on my walk home today. Excellent!

I work for a Victorian house museum, and your site is invaluable to us -- it's a jumping off point for docents doing research on areas of interest, a good supplement for our docents in training, and a great resource for the teachers we work with. In fact, just today, a 3rd Grade art teacher copied down the URL for advice on a whirligigs art project. Keep up the good work, please!

What a great source of information on all things Victoriana, with a special focus on San Francisco, CA, USA. And an interesting linkage of Victorian to Green, plus excellent examples of the Green practice of reuse.

I love the look of your "Not Your Grandfathers Dog Tag" on Smashing Darling. A wonderful way to reuse those one of a kind items which are too nice to ditch. Keep it coming.
